IDHANTH

You know why girls have higher birth rate?  Because even the god wants them at our disposal.
I slid through the many dms I have recieved since I posted by last summer vacation photos, beach photos.

Horny women texting me their 'Hi' as if their goal isn't to scream 'Ah' instead.
"Remind me again? Why must I go India this time?" I asked my father who was sitting with his scotch in hand and my mother walked inside the room with a tray of orange juice for me.

I took from her hand and sipped, I almost spat, "It has pulp!" I complained, my mother instead started to take it away from me. But my father looked above from his Ipad and scotch glass.
"Go squeeze the shit yourself then!"
He cried out loud and rolled my eyes standing but my father stopped me.

"We are not done with the conversation."He spoke in an authoritative tone. I looked at my mother who was torn between saying nothing and then being on my side.
She chose the first one and I sat back down. She took the glass anyway, "Let me filter it!" She insisted and took the glass away.

"You do everything for him! That is why he has become a nagging brat! You should no-" My father started, and I made face, running my head back and forth.
He saw it. "You don't want taste of my belt son, trust me!"
He and his hollow threats.
"I am capable of taking that pretensious white layer of skin off you. Fine!" He completed. My mom had already returned with the glass in her hand and gave it to me.

I took a sip and again opened my phone. He completed his morning scotch, while my mother sat beside him, instead of paying attention to them I paid attention to my phone, a new message popped.
Mannat speaking in the family group consisting of me, mom, dad and her. Not Harshvardhan, because obviously he is the lucky one! (in sarcasm) he chose to live in Indian because he wants to be part of rather Indian culture, more like be part of Abhiraj uncle's family. So it didn't made sense to add him in our family group.

He knows a group like this exists and he was never bothered with the fact that he isn't in it.

11:32,Wishie:
'Got her! On the way. Pretty girl♡'

I ignored her message and kept scrolling, whilst my mother spoke.
"Idhanth, please pay attention to us, we want you,"

I dropped my phone and looked at her and him. "You know, Inara? Do you remember her?" My father asked me.

"Yes, your friend from your college? She is also in India right?" I asked him frowning and he nodded in acceptance. "Why are we mentioning her on a random brunch morning? Is she my real mom or something?" I joked on my dad's character who rolled his eyes again.

"No, she have a daughter!" My father said and I frowned,

"And. . . That daughter is yours?" I presumed and he closed his eyes in frustration and my mother laughed, I smirked along in pride.

"Lets keep the assumption that I have an illegitimate child anywhere aside! And listen, her daughter, Eraya is coming London for her Maths Olympiad and she is going to stay with us for the time being! And we expect you to be on the best behaviour, because firstly she is a girl and we know you are not exactly good with them. And secondly, she has. . . She has some disability so we would like you to learn few things so she won't feel barriers with us, that she is going to live here."

I narrowed my brow, the words in whole was a constipated gathering. But I heard them. I studied its structure starting with the most important and for most information I recieved.
Eraya?

Isn't that the girl I saw for the first time in India during my last visit?

There is not much in my hollow chest to cluster into a bundle and throb. Not that I had recognized until that day.

BEFORE

The strange feeling of being on the brown land makes my heart beat louder whenever I return here. What does this place own that it rules a string in me that even I can't pull?

I have been in India from last two days, my days couldn't be more boring.
When I had arrived, I thought I will hangout with my real brother, Harshvardhan who chose to go abandon me and our family to rather stay in this strange brown land.

I mean, I do watch the girls and feel its not bad, India. But then I see the pollution, politics and be, nah. Harshvardhan was sitting in the office, he got a separate office in my uncle's building which was strange because he doesn't give it to just anyone.

And he was working while I was sitting across from him, "You said, come with me, it will be fun? What is fun in this?" I whined and he focused on the screen, hummed like I was telling him something.
Since, I have arrived here nothing majorly fun has occurred. So, I did what would rather be my interest.
"You said you have secretary?" I questioned he hummed again, "Female?" I insisted and he continued to hummed so focus.
I picked the telecom and pressed a number. And within thirty seconds she was inside, "Yes, sir?" She asked.
She was a petite girl, brown hair with brown eyes and nose that was peaked, I don't recognize her.

"Your name?" I asked her, she looked at my brother who was still in his computer screen. "Aisha," She said and I nodded, she waited for some order when found none she started to departure.
She closed the door, I smirked. And next five minutes, I rang it again. She walked inside again, "Yes, sir?" She asked again. "I would like some water?" She watched the glass filled kept on the table, "Bottled water,"

She accepted my request and shut the door walked away, she returned with a bottle water sealed pack, and then kept it on the table, "Here, anything else?" She asked me, I shook my head. She walked away and shut the door.
I touched the water, it was not cold.  I rang again, she returned again, "I would like it cold?" She made a face but took the bottle and left to bring a new one, I watched Vardhan so engrossed he didn't even notice what I was doing.

The girl came and kept it before me, she asked again, I shook my head and she returned back on the desk. I drank the water. And rang the bell again, she frustrated came inside, "Can you be darling and throw this bottle for me? Crush it, they say always crush and throw plastic bottles?" I reminded her and she nodded taking the bottle way.

In next second I rang again and instead of thirty seconds she opened it instantly, "Sorry, rang it by mistake," I apologised and she inhaled and exhaled before closing the door.
Finally my brother took his eyes away from the computer, "Yes, what you were saying?" He asked me.

"How many days have you not slept from?" I asked, looking at his falling eyeballs.

"What are you talking about? I slept two hours just yesterday!"

"Wow, the sleep schedule of the decade!" He stood and asked me to walk along with him because he is returning home now. His work was done early, I came out of the room, Aisha on a desk, "Bye! Aisha!" I said and my brother looked at me weirdly. I was doing that to poor girl just before his eyes, he didn't even notice?

Abhiraj uncle joined us, he was also returning home after two days. "How did you like it here, Idhanth? Want to join your brother?" He asked me and I laughed.

"Is this some mastermind plot against my father? To rather side all his sons your way, and leave him alone?" I joked with uncle who laughed and took no offence in my behaviour.

"Yes, just the difference is, I will be rather on the side where he will be!"
Of course, Abhiraj Agnivanshi and Aadheesh Agnivanshi even after being cousin brothers are closer to each other than any real brothers. On the same front, I bare no special bond with any cousin or brothers of my own. Mannat is there, but she herself chooses to keep her distance from us.

I arrived at the Rajkot Haveli, entering. I found Tamanna sitting with a chess board and a book about chess in her hand, while she was playing some stroke. She is the all-rounder. One shouldn't even be surprised, given she received her school's 10 year of all-rounder award during her farewell because of how perfect personality.

She is preparing for MMBS, she is extremely pretty, taken after the Raajnandan genes given Taara maa and my mom, Aamira are the extreme beauties, she is athletic because she has been dancing since she was three, and she even plays mind game in form of learning chess.

Vardhan and I entered, she looked towards us, gave me a polite smile, before gave look you will only pass on a trash at road side towards my brother. "Lets play?" Vardhan suggested her.

She scoffed, "You are not even warm-up for me!" She spat in offence and my brother sat, "Of course, I am your loss!" He proudly announced.

"I win, and you get rid of your women like bangs?" She asked laughing, Oo, now thats a deal because my brother is highly conscious of his looks. He wants to appear perfect all the time, spontaneously like my father does, but again Aadheesh genes weren't blessed into him. He matches all criteria of adopted child.
"I win, and you never touch chess again?  And call me god of chess?" Childish wish but she agreed with no hesitation.

Devrat joined us in the living room and stood beside me, "Hello! Idhanth! I heard you were at office today? I hoped you had visited my cabin!"

"My brother kept me occupied!" I said in sarcasm to what Vardhan didn't even pay attention because they had already began with game.
I watched Devrat check his phone.

"You have a date with your bethroned? How are you feeling? It's sorted for you! You can taste all the sweetness of world before you commit to your strict diet!" He didn't entertain my disrespect.

A young girl worker came with water tray and kept it for me and Vardhan before she departed, I leaned forward to watch her ass walk away, before I sat down.
"I get, why you like India! I said to Vardhan. Who moved his horse on the chess!"

I opened my phone and replied few girls here and there, distracted into seeing the bikini picture of my eyes. Oh! She had perfect clevage! My mind drifted to the offer made by Aragya to go somewhere for errand.
I asked him my concern for presence of female because I was surely deprived of them!

With no reply, rather than sticking to watch a match of plastic pieces, I decided to volunteer where potential women will be.

The ride to the house of a Zehra aunty, Daiwik uncle who has been a constant presence in everyone of Agnivanshi's life because Taara maa wanted to give her something, was brutal on Aragya's motorcycle, he had good bike but by the time I got of it, in front of a huge yellow haveli, my hair was a wreck.

I murmur a yell at Aragya for ruining my hair, before I yelled and in the small mirror of his bike. I started to mend mu hair strands, my eyes drifted to some girl in a huge layered cream plazzo and a turquoise lose blouse.
I turned around immediately on the shadow I asked my brother.

If it was my delusion or was there really a girl so beautiful there?
He instead spoke of how everyone in this house was off limits for us.
Us? Agnivanshi.

I almost scoffed at the idea, while we walked instead, there was a porch, there was a corridor and open balcony where there was Daiwik uncle's daughter sitting and singing with her singing teacher.
Zehra aunty walked towards us, aware suddenly that we are here or probably the girl who saw us went and told her that we are here?
Either way, she was here, when she offered us to come in and have water and tea, just the idea of seeing that shadow girl again? I accepted it.

I can feel Aragya's rage to that acceptance, but instead of fighting him I walked inside making small talk with Zehra Aunty.
"You are Idhanth? Visiting after how long?" She asked me and I frowned.

"Six years straight?" I sat down to the living room attached to her open area sitting down. "But this is my first time visiting your house though. Where is that . . ." I assumed it the little of Daiwik Agnihotri given this Daiwik's haveli. "That young girl who was a nuisance as a child!" I contradicted her into introducing everyone of her family on my own.

Aragya joined me and sat down.
"Oh, Aza is not here. She have changed, not much nuisance!"
If she is not here, the woman I had seen, walked with water glasses on a tray, towards us,
The pale skin, the grey eyes, black hair, that enhanced her pale look into one blinding beauty.

She leaned forward, offering me the water.
I had been only taking water from different women from entire day, but this hand felt special to take.
Felt right to take, I picked up the glass, watching straight in her eyes, and before I could quench my thirst not of water.
I heard a loud smash, head turned to find Aragya bitting the shit out of the music teacher of Daiwik uncle's eldest daughter.

I walked up towards Aragya to stop him, but when I stood. I watched the tray fall, the girl shiver, from the loud voice, loud actions and heavy breathing.
She was not usual with violence, everyone were in front trying to control rather the situation while I watched her struggle in herself,
I held her hand, "You okay?" I asked her, she looked at me..

She shook her head, "Shush, it's okay?" I said and I dragged her away towards the door she came from, kitchen is there most likely.
She followed me without any hesitation and when we were far from the noise. She finally started to take more rhythmic breath.

She put her fingers together and bringing it to her chin and forward down towards me. She did an action.
It took me few fasten heartbeat to realise.

She said thank you to me in sign language.
